Up 'cycle' lighting ...

Thinking of ways to create fantastic lighting for your home? How about upcycling some old bicycle parts?

Made from bicycle chains and rims, these chandeliers (above, from EcoFriend) are striking. Talk about industrial chic!

Above,  bike wheels provide a clever twist to mood lighting at the Kendai Cafe in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Photo via Poetic Home.

Retro modern lighting (above) from recycled traffic lights is a brilliant idea from Greenlight Concepts.

Order up! Take your lighting for a spin on a repurposed cafe order wheel like Pottery Barn's Wakefield Chandelier (above) or create a Milk Bottle Chandelier similar to PB's (below).

I actually LOVE the wheel lights. We have so many bike parts around here I'm sure we could figure something out. Also like the milk bottles one too.
